Tanggou Town, part of Guannan County, Jiangsu Province, lies at the intersection of the Yangtze River Delta and the Longhai Economic Zone. Located in the northwest of Guannan County, Tanggou Town borders Mengxingzhuang Town to the east, Liji Township and Gaogou Town of Lianshui County to the south, Liheng Town and Yitao Town of Shuyang County to the west, and the Xinyi River to the north. The town covers an area of ​​33.8 square kilometers, boasting 23,200 mu of arable land. It administers eight administrative villages, 103 villager groups, 7,954 households, and a population of 30,200.

Brewing industry is the pillar industry of Tanggou. Tanggou liquor, which enjoys the reputation of "Tanggou liquor in the South, fragrant for ten miles after opening the jar", is produced in Tanggou Town. Tanggou liquor is a well-known brand among the "three ditches and one river" in Jiangsu Province. The town is shaded by green trees and lush, and has the unique advantages of sweet water and fragrant earth.
