Introducing Dream Valley

The Dream Chasing Valley is a sparsely populated canyon discovered by the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area Management Bureau following the development of the Taoist Cultural Zone. The ten-mile-long canyon is covered with primitive forests, lush and verdant, with unique mountains and beautiful waters, waterfalls, shallow streams and deep pools, strange rocks and secluded valleys, hidden in the mountains and unknown to humans.

Li Er, a famous thinker and philosopher in the pre-Qin period and the Keeper of Tibetan History of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, also known as Zhuxiashi, went west through Hangu Pass to the hinterland of the vast Funiu Mountains in search of a place to retire. It was from here that he began to travel through mountains and rivers step by step, and eventually became a teacher of all ages and the ancestor of Taoism.

Comprising the Laolongwo Waterfall Pool, primeval forest, and Junshan Waterfall, the scenic area is nestled in a tranquil valley nestled between the Junshan West Peak Canyon and the northern foot of the Butterfly Valley Scenic Area. Entering from the scenic gate and following the road on the far right, you'll enter the Dream Chasing Valley Scenic Area. The valley's tranquility and allure, reminiscent of a dreamlike journey, earned it the name Dream Chasing Valley.
