Yangsimu Scenic Area is located at the junction of Anfu County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, and Yichun City. It is part of the Anfu Wugong Mountain Scenic Area, a national scenic spot, and covers a total area of 37.5 square kilometers. Yangsimu stretches east-west, connecting Mingyue Mountain to the east and Fayunjie to the west. The highest peak in the area, Shisun Peak, stands at 1,764 meters above sea level, and is dominated by granite peaks and forests.
Yangsimu is a newly developed, large-scale scenic area, making it one of the most attractive scenic spots in central Jiangxi Province due to its unique geography and geology. This unique and valuable geological formation has a long history, and Yangsimu has undergone tremendous changes over the past 3.2 billion years.
Yang Wanli, a great poet in the Song Dynasty, visited this mountain during his school years. He was so fascinated by the magnificent scenery of the mountains and lingered there day and night. Especially after admiring the magnificent Shisun Peak, he left behind a poem that moved the world: "The tip of the pen pierces the sky, and the clouds dip into the tip. From time to time, they are written together, emitting the fragrance of nectar"; the scenic area is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, and the meteorological landscape of "sheep" and "lions" chasing and playing in the mountains is often seen, hence the name "Sheep and Lions".
Boasting a subtropical humid monsoon climate, Yangsimu Scenic Area boasts breathtaking celestial phenomena, including Buddha's light, sea of clouds, sunrise, rime, and rime. It's a great place to visit in all seasons.
The scenic area is dominated by a diverse and magnificent granite peak forest landscape. Its key features include "strange peaks and rocks, flowing springs and waterfalls, vibrant mountain flowers, a dreamlike sea of clouds, and rime and snow." The peaks, stacked and lush, offer a breathtaking array of beauty within the beauty, and the wonders within the wonders. The Buddha's light, sea of clouds, sunrises, and sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful, creating a fairyland-like experience. The scenic area's renowned "Two Peaks" and "Five Blessings" are truly breathtaking.
The scenic area has tourist facilities such as suspended plank roads, valley hiking trails, alpine slides, zip lines, outdoor sports centers, five-star antique resort hotels, and antique courtyards. It is a mountain tourist attraction that integrates ecological tours, leisure vacations, outdoor sports, and religious pilgrimages.
