Recommended number of days and locations for visiting

The 500-meter-long Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient street along the river is ancient and elegant with endless layers of buildings. The ruts on the bluestone pavement record the prosperity of the town in those days.

The town's winding river, crossed by bluestone bridges, adds to its waterside charm. The inscriptions on the stone tablets along the riverside docks recall the prosperous past when "goods gathered from Fujian, Sichuan, and Guangdong, languages mingled from Zhejiang, Huaihai, and Yangzhou, boats moored at night, and lights shone around the banks."

To the north of the ancient town is the famous Jiushi Mountain, which is the northern gateway of the county and is also known as Longmen.

The river at the foot of the mountain is unfathomable. It is said that one can reach the Dragon Palace directly from here, hence the name "The First Pass of Longmen". The five large characters "The First Pass of Longmen" engraved on the cliff are still clearly visible.

The Ming Dynasty "Tianru Temple" at the foot of the First Mountain of the Nine Lions is a Ming Dynasty Buddhist temple. There is a natural pond beside the temple, and the words "Tianru Temple" are said to be the handwriting of Emperor Kangxi.
