The Sanjiang Ecological Scenic Area is located in Sanjiang Township in southern Wenchuan County. It is named Sanjiang because the Xihe, Zhonghe, and Heishi Rivers converge here. The scenic area consists of the Xihe Scenic Area, the Zhonghe Scenic Area, and the Panlong Mountain Scenic Area.
