Yangmeiling, located on the southern line of West Lake Scenic Area, west of Shuile Cave and south of Wengjia Mountain, is the source of the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams.
Along the way, there are mountains and ridges, lush vegetation, and clear streams that sometimes flow fast and sometimes slow, which is comparable to the scenery of Xitianmu Mountain. The historical site is Li'an Temple.
Yangmeiling is a newly developed retreat for literary and artistic young people. It has small and fresh restaurants, distinctive boutique homestays, and art hotels with a strong sense of design.

Yangmeiling is located in the western outskirts of Hangzhou. Visitors can reach it by taxi or rideshare from Hangzhou city center, or by taking local buses that stop near the main entrance. Walking paths allow exploration of the scenic areas once you arrive.
The area is open year-round, typically from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The best times to visit are spring and autumn for mild weather, clear skies, and vibrant natural colors.
General access to Yangmeiling is free, while some hiking or cultural activity areas may charge a small fee. Tickets can usually be purchased on-site.
Booking is generally not required, except for specific guided hikes or cultural experiences. In such cases, booking a day or two in advance is recommended during peak season.

Guided tours are occasionally available in Chinese. English-language guides may need to be arranged through local tour services.
Start at the main entrance, follow scenic hiking trails, visit streams and viewpoints, explore nearby villages, and conclude at picnic or rest areas. Optional side paths can lead to smaller hidden spots.
Night visits are generally not recommended, and there are no regular light shows. Special cultural tours or seasonal events may be offered occasionally.
Weekends and holidays can be busy, especially at popular viewpoints. The least crowded times are weekday mornings or afternoons during the off-season.
Some walking paths are gentle and suitable for children and elderly visitors, but certain trails may be steep or uneven, limiting accessibility for disabled visitors.
Cash can be used for small purchases, but mobile payments such as Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely accepted at local shops and stalls.
