Linhai Pavilion, located within the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams, is an open pavilion built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China as a resting place for tourists. On the pavilion, an ancient couplet is inscribed: the first line reads, " A short stay is best , and let's go have some Zhaozhou tea ," and the second line reads, " Returning home at daytime can be slow, let's sing together as the flowers bloom on the roadside . " This ancient couplet aptly captures the Hangzhou spirit of " Zen, tea, music, water, fragrance, flowers, and opera . "

Six murals within the Linhai Pavilion narrate the " Legend of Wulong . " Rest within the pavilion and admire the surrounding scenery, appreciating the unique charm of Jiuxi.
