
Hangzhou Low Carbon Science and Technology Museum, located at No. 1888 Jianghan Road, Hangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Binjiang District) , is the world's first large-scale science and technology museum with a low-carbon theme. It is a public welfare science popularization and education institution integrating low-carbon technology popularization, green building exhibition, low-carbon academic exchanges and low-carbon information dissemination.
The Science and Technology Museum's building has adopted ten energy-saving technologies in accordance with local conditions, including solar photovoltaic building integration , daylight utilization and green lighting technology, water source heat pump and ice storage. The exhibition materials and construction inside the venue, as well as the exhibit materials and manufacturing processes, all adhere to green and low-carbon principles.
The Low Carbon Science and Technology Museum is themed " Low-carbon life, the future that mankind will definitely choose " and takes low-carbon as its main line. It has set up seven permanent exhibition halls, including " Carbon Cycle " , " Low-carbon City " , " Global Warming " , " Low-carbon Technology " , " Low- carbon Life " , " Low-carbon Future " and " Children's Paradise " , two special theaters with giant screen and dome screen, a temporary exhibition hall and academic lecture hall; and multiple science popularization laboratories.
Through more than 100 exhibits that combine science, fun and interactivity, such as " The Formation and Existence of Carbon " , " Global Warming " , " Aspects of Low-Carbon " , " Roaming in a Low-Carbon Future " , and " Low-Carbon Guide Robot " , the exhibition promotes the scientific spirit, advocates scientific methods, disseminates scientific ideas .
