The Wanquan River Canyon Scenic Area, located in Huishan Miao Autonomous Town, Qionghai City, is shaped by the Wanquan River, offering breathtaking tropical island scenery and a unique local culture. The most captivating section is the vast Wanquan River Grand Canyon upstream. Its pristine, natural beauty, ecological ecology, and ancient charm have earned it the nickname "China's Natural Oxygen Valley." The characteristic tropical rainforest landscapes and breathtaking natural formations along its banks make it an ideal destination for fashionable outdoor activities such as adventure, exploration, and rafting.
The most noteworthy activity in the Wanquan River Canyon is rafting on the river, which stretches approximately 15 kilometers and takes about three hours. It offers both the thrill of navigating the rapids and the poetic beauty of panoramic views along the banks. Cascading waterfalls, Miao villages, lively fish and shrimp, and red and white flowers of the riverside stone willows are all visible. Night rafting offers a completely different experience: hazy mountains, faintly visible trees, darting fireflies, and the chirping of insects and birds – you may not have seen such a pristine nightscape in a long time.
In addition to rafting, adventure, mystery-seeking and night drifting activities, there are also leisure activities such as fishing, camping, and bonfire parties. It is also a good place for enterprises and teams to conduct expansion training and for students to receive quality education.
