Baoshi Cave is located in Panlong Village, Sandan Town, Fumin County, 33 kilometers from Kunming. Baoshi Cave is a limestone karst cave. The scenic area comprises seven caves, four of which are currently under development. The upper and lower caves are particularly distinctive. The stalactites within the cave are craggy and varied in shape, especially in the upper cave. Finding your dream gem in the cave is a challenge, as some are crystal clear and perfect for setting into rings, pendants, and more. There's also a Paradise Water Cave, where you can row a boat from the front mountain to the back. The cave is vast and majestic, offering a unique experience. Visitors can explore Baoshi Cave to see the stalactites and explore the secluded paradise by boat.

The water in the Baoshi Cave Scenic Area has three sources: first, it flows from the Dongfeng Reservoir through the back mountain to the Paradise Water Cave; second, there is a trickle of water flowing out of the lower cave of Baoshi Cave, which is crystal clear and you can see the bottom. In the cave, there are rare golden thread fish and bats in China; third, there is an underground spring in Baoshi Cave Scenic Area, and water gushes out from the ground all year round. The water is clear, bright, cool and refreshing, comparable to the water in Kunming Black Dragon Pond, and you can enjoy playing in the water here.
