Shuishenjiao, located in Qinglong Town, Anning City, is a forested canyon measuring 6.6 kilometers long and 1.6 kilometers wide. It is 64 kilometers from Kunming and 34 kilometers from Anning. The scenic area boasts a cool, lush vegetation, and year-round picturesque scenery with clear skies and a breathtakingly fresh air. Verdant ancient trees and vines tower, wild flowers bloom, and wild fruits blanket the mountains. The mountain breeze carries the fragrance of herbs and wildflowers. Shuishenjiao likely represents the "paradise" described by Tao Yuanming. Shuishenjiao was developed as a tourist attraction in June 2000.
Key attractions include Shuimen Waterfall, the Birth of the Water God, Guanyin Calming the Soul, Yi Garden, Pregnancy Well, Water Zipline, Tianchi Tower, Dream Yi Village, Exploring the Secret Valley, Camp One, Camp Two, Eagle Rock Waterfall, and Yixiantian Waterfall. The scenic area offers outdoor training, island survival, rope swings, seesaws, and other recreational activities. Guests can paddle bamboo rafts in the rippling Qinglong Lake and go orienteering along the gurgling streams.
The spring water flowing in Shuishenjiao Mountain is crystal clear in the pebble valley. The fish swim happily in the stream. The gurgling sound of the spring water and the chirping of the stone clams play a harmonious music of nature. The water is very clear and not too deep. Walking on the stone path with slowly flowing water really gives you the feeling of childhood.
