Introducing Wangchen Pavilion

Wangchen Pavilion, located on the main peak of Banshan National Forest Park in Hangzhou's Gongshu District, is a new landmark in northern Hangzhou, standing to the south alongside the Chenghuang Pavilion on Wushan Mountain in the south. The "Chen" character in Wangchen refers to the Gongchen Bridge in Gongshu District. Furthermore, Wangchen Pavilion, situated atop Gaoting Mountain, the only mountain in the north, offers panoramic views of Hangzhou to the south, hence the name "Wangchen" (Wangchen), meaning " looking over the city . "

Wangchen Pavilion is a 42- meter-tall, replica-style, Southern Song Dynasty-style building. Its multi-story structure, with three visible and five concealed sections, is a distinctive feature of Southern Song Dynasty architecture. The fifth floor offers the best views, offering panoramic views. On clear days, visitors can overlook the entire city of Hangzhou from the top.
