Introducing Bodhi Vihara

Bodhi Jingshe, located on Beishan Street in Hangzhou, faces the street to the south, leans against Geling Mountain to the north, and overlooks the boundless beauty of West Lake. Fundraised and built by 24 prominent businesspeople from Luzhou and Zhejiang, including Ding Ganren, it was intended as a place for chanting sutras, worshipping Buddha, and cultivating one's character. Later, it served as the property of Xinyi Pharmaceutical Factory and Kangyuan Can Factory, and as a dormitory for government officials.

The building's walls are outlined in Western-style lines, and the exquisite gatehouse is about 6 meters high, with stone slabs and slabs, flying eaves and upturned corners, and the four large characters " Bodhi Jingshe " are inscribed on it . It is now open to the public as the Hangzhou History Museum of the Communist Party of China.
