Introducing Shenbian Tower

The Shenbian Pagoda is located at No. 2, Jintang Lane, Huangzhong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, within Ta'er Monastery on Lianhua Mountain in Lushar Town. It is one of the eight Ruyi Pagodas within Ta'er Monastery. The eight pagodas are arranged side by side and were built in the 41st year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. Its pointed roof, rounded in the upper part and square in the lower part, commemorates eight major events of Sakyamuni. This pagoda, known as the Shenbian Pagoda, was built to commemorate Sakyamuni's subjugation of heretics in Sravasti.
