Baquan Gorge, located in the middle section of the Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon in Huguan, Changzhi, Shanxi, is also known as the "No. 1 Gorge in Taihang". It is a magnificent canyon that combines natural scenery and modern fashion.

The name of Baquanxia also has its origin. Since there are eight springs in the Qiaohou Valley in the Taihang Grand Canyon, people have called it "Badaoshui" since ancient times. In addition, there are two spring groups in the middle of the canyon, each with eight springs, and the number of springs in all three groups is eight, so the scenic area here in the Taihang Grand Canyon is named "Baquanxia".
