Dragon Stone
Looking up, you'll see a statue of General Mulan, clad in armor and brandishing a sword. Below, carved into a stone are the three characters "Dragon-Subduing Stone." Legend has it that a mischievous little white dragon lives in Xiaotianchi Lake. It often emerges from the pond to play, causing floods and widespread complaints from the locals. Ever since childhood, Mulan, fearless and heroic, decided to teach the troublemaker a lesson. So, carrying a long sword carved from pine wood by her grandfather, she guarded the lake's edge day and night. Finally, one day, the Little White Dragon emerged from the waters of Little Tianchi Lake. Little Mulan leaped into the air with a whoosh, and with a flourish, she rode upon the Little White Dragon's back. She pressed her pine sword against the dragon's throat and shouted, "Your father commands the wind and rain in heaven, bringing prosperity to the people; yet you lurk in Little Tianchi, stirring up trouble and harming the people. Today, I will teach you a lesson!" The usually arrogant Little White Dragon immediately crouched on the stone, where the imprints of Little Mulan's footprints and claws remain. This heroic statue of General Mulan also conveys the respect and welcome of the villagers of General Mulan's grandmother's family to the visitors from all corners of the world.
After being disciplined by Little Mulan, Little White Dragon calmed down considerably, remaining hidden deep within Little Tianchi. However, Little Mulan continued to monitor the stubborn Little White Dragon, frequently visiting the pond with her pinewood sword in hand. Late at night, bored and anxious, Little White Dragon would often surface to ponder. To thank Little Mulan for punishing Little White Dragon, the locals raised funds to build a Dragon Viewing Pavilion for the general and carved the words "Dragon Roar" on a boulder near the pond.
Eight Immortals
Eight Immortals' Seats: Are there eight seats arranged on this boulder to the side of the Dragon Pillar? This boulder has a legend! To tame the mischievous Little White Dragon, the Dragon King invited eight celestial beings—Han Zhongli, Li Tieguai, Zhang Guolao, He Xiangu, Lan Caihe, Lü Dongbin, Han Xiangzi, and Cao Guojiu—to descend to the Grand Canyon to preach to Little White Dragon. The Eight Immortals descended on auspicious clouds and sat on this boulder, creating the "Eight Immortals' Seats" we see today.
Longxutan
Dragon Beard Pond: Legend has it that after the painstaking instruction of eight immortals, Little White Dragon changed and matured. To repay the local people's reverence for dragons and atone for his past mistakes, he began to assist the old Dragon King in bringing auspicious signs to the people, stirring up clouds and mist and summoning wind and rain. Once, a huge rock rolled down the mountainside due to weathering. Suddenly, Little White Dragon, observing this, leaped from the water and used his whiskers to stop the rolling rock.
Smart Fountain
Smart Spring: A traditional stone platform, Smart Spring features a tightly bound wooden barrel for drawing water. Legend has it that little Mulan was raised by her grandmother for over ten years, practically consuming water from this very well. Neighboring villagers observed that little Mulan was gifted and exceptionally gifted, excelling in both martial arts and literature.
Everyone thought the well in front of Mulan's grandmother's house was extraordinary, and they all flocked to draw water from it, hoping their children would be as intelligent as little Mulan. Later generations named the well "Smart Spring." From then on, the story of Smart Spring spread like wildfire, becoming famous throughout Huangpi. It's said that many people later used the spring's water to treat pollution and illness, transforming it into high-quality "technological products."
Datianchi
Datianchi Lake: Located at an altitude of 506 meters and covering an area of over 360 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), Datianchi Lake, nestled among tranquil mountains and lush green forests, resembles a giant piece of transparent jade.
Grass skiing
Grass skiing: This scenic area's recreational activity, high-platform grass skiing, allows visitors to slide down from a height of over 100 meters, a thrilling and exhilarating experience. Looking down from this height can be dizzying. Visitors with chronic conditions such as heart disease and high blood pressure are advised to see an ophthalmologist and watch the action unfold calmly.
