Hengdian World Studios has become China's largest filming base, boasting the most extensive filming locations, the most comprehensive supporting facilities, and the longest history. Since filming "The Opium War" in 1996, over 3,000 episodes of television and drama have been shot at Hengdian World Studios.

Pingyan Cave

Pingyan Cave, known as the "First Cave Heaven in Jiangnan," is Hengdian's largest natural scenic spot. Its precipitous cliffs, deep caves, and gurgling streams have naturally made it a haven for Taoist practice. Along the steep cliffs are Taoist shrines dedicated to the Jade Emperor, Queen Mother, Wong Tai Sin, Hu Gong, and the Eight Immortals. The most breathtaking scenery of Pingyan Cave is the Jinsi Stream on Houyan Mountain.
