
Shipu Town, located at the southern tip of the Xiangshan Peninsula, is the economic center of southern Xiangshan County, the county's largest port and foreign trade center. It is also a historic and cultural town, known as the "Important Town on the Central Zhejiang Ocean Route." Shipu Town is named after the unique Shipu Harbor and the surrounding area.
Shipu Town still retains many ancient buildings and boasts a remarkably well-preserved, ancient, unique, and bustling commercial street. The town also boasts Zhongjie, Houjie, and Houshan Road, all of which are old streets and alleys with a traditional fishing port feel.
Shipu Town has a subtropical marine monsoon climate, which is warm and humid, with distinct four seasons, sufficient sunshine, abundant rainfall, long winters and summers and short springs and autumns.
Fishing Port Ancient City
Shipu Fishing Port, also known as Ligang Port, runs from northeast to southwest. It is a crescent-shaped closed harbor with an area of 27 square kilometers and a water depth of 4-33 meters. It can berth 10,000 fishing boats and 10,000-ton ocean-going vessels. The harbor is calm and peaceful. It is a famous sheltered harbor on the southeast coast. It has the advantages of both a fishing port and a commercial port, and is one of the four largest fishing ports in the country.
Chinese fishing village
Located in Shipu, Xiangshan, the first phase of the project is called the "Sunshine Coast Scenic Area". It is the largest original ecological seaside leisure tourism resort on the east coast of China. It is a large-scale leisure coastal tourist destination with the theme of "fishing culture and folk tours" and "seaside ocean leisure vacation". It is a new world on the sea that integrates tourism, leisure, vacation and human habitation.
Honolulu Island
