
Shuangyang District is a district under the jurisdiction of Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is located in the central part of Jilin Province and southeast of Changchun City.
Shuangyang was established as a district in July 1995 after the county was abolished. The district governs four towns, namely Luxiang, Taiping, Qijia and Shuangying, and four sub-district areas, namely Pinghu, Yunshan, Shanhe and Sheling. It is a famous hometown of sika deer and is well-known throughout the country.

Diaoshuihu Scenic Tourist Area
Shanhe Town, Shuangyang District, 91 kilometers away from Changchun City, Jilin Province, is a new tourist attraction with unique charm. The scenic area is characterized by rolling mountains, numerous strange rocks, quiet canyons, gurgling streams, and extremely rich wild animal and plant resources.
There are also myths and historical legends circulating here, such as the Queen Mother's bracelet piercing the stone jar, the battle between the white dragon and the black snake, and Emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty authorizing the construction of Zhao's Pear Garden.

Yulong Hot Spring Resort
Located in Yangjia Village, Pinghu Subdistrict, Shuangyang District, Changchun City, 37 kilometers from Changchun City, the well water overflows spontaneously at a temperature of 50°C. The hot spring has been found to be rich in essential nutrients (minerals) such as iron, manganese, copper, zinc, selenium, and sulfate. It is beneficial for regulating endocrine function, restoring body functions, and improving microcirculation. It also offers therapeutic benefits for relieving fatigue and relaxing the body and mind that cannot be replaced by conventional methods.
The park evokes a subtropical rainforest climate and scenery. It blends mountains, rocks, forests, springs, streams, waterfalls, ponds, pavilions, terraces, flowers, birds, and plants into a seamless, natural landscape. Fifty distinctive hot spring pools resemble dazzling stars scattered amidst the lush greenery. Each pool, paved with jade-like stone, embraces a pool of turquoise water, like a pearl and jadeite, scattered amidst lush trees and flowers. Each pool has a different shape and function.
Shuangyang Lake
The area comprises three scenic spots: Shuangyang Lake, Luming Villa, and a holiday resort. Shuangyang Lake, with a surface area of 650 hectares and a 1,570-meter-long levee, boasts a vast expanse of clear water, shaded by lush trees, and a picturesque setting, making it an ideal spot for swimming and fishing. Luming Villa, a unique attraction in the area, occupies 35,000 square meters and features a period-style architecture. Its main structure is Liuhe Pavilion, where the renowned Shuangyang specialty—sika deer—is exhibited and sold, along with deer by-products and various processed medicinal tonics. A visit to the deer park offers a unique experience.
