The Kulbin area is located at the junction of Yichun City and Heihe City in Heilongjiang Province.
"Kulbin" is a transliteration of the Oroqen language, meaning "fishing ground." This suggests a rich fish population in the past. Today, it remains a renowned spot for fresh fish. Kulbin is a scenic spot perfect for all seasons: spring is like a dream, summer is like a dripping rain, autumn is like an intoxication, and winter is like jade—a true reflection of Kulbin.
During the season of auspicious snowfall, the entire scenic area transforms into a shimmering world. From a height, the trees transform into clusters of coral, creating a scene of pines adorned with jade, rocks shimmering in silver, peaks gleaming, and flowers and plants glittering. This silver-clad world of ice and snow appears even more mysterious, captivating, and graceful. The Kulbin rime is a winter wonder of the Lesser Khingan Mountains, a spectacle that lasts for four months and attracts numerous photographers and tourists from both China and abroad.
