Shuiquangou Village is located in the southeastern part of Dazhuangke Township, Yanqing County, 2 kilometers from the township government. It is divided into four natural villages: Shuiquangou, Yangmadi (including Hekou Natural Village), Dongshaliang, and Yangshugou. With its fresh air, beautiful scenery, and proximity to mountains and water, and a vegetation coverage rate exceeding 85%, it is known to tourists as a "paradise on earth." In the summer, it offers a refreshing and cool atmosphere, making it a great place to escape the summer heat.
Within the Black Dragon Grand Canyon, towering cliffs and gurgling waters permeate the valley floor, offering nearly 30 diverse landscapes of varying sizes. Numerous bizarre stone pictograms have been carved into the rock faces, depicting images of the Jade Rabbit descending to Earth, crocodiles playing in the water, Sleeping Beauty, pyramids, and pen holder rocks, all remarkably lifelike. In winter, Shuiquangou embraces a monotonous, desolate beauty, a return to its natural beauty. The textures, the contours, the very essence of the mountains—all laid bare before your eyes. A blanket of silver, a scene that invites lingering enchantment.
Shuiquangou's climate belongs to the temperate semi-arid monsoon climate zone, characterized by large temperature differences between day and night.
There are endless beautiful sights to admire throughout the year: in spring, flowers compete for beauty and emit fragrance; in midsummer, the weather is lush and cool; in autumn, the weather is fruitful and the harvest is imminent; in midwinter, the weather is covered with snow.
