Puzhao Temple, located on the outer slopes of Qingcheng Mountain in Sichuan Province, was first built in 1681, the 20th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The current Puzhao Temple was rebuilt after the earthquake on May 12, 2008, but it still retains its ethereal atmosphere. All that remains here are the plants, trees, flowers, and people.

There is not too much frills here, but efforts have been made to preserve the most natural appearance. Many buildings are built against the mountain without damaging the surrounding plants and trees, which is why there is the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree.

Puzhao Temple's scenery is dominated by temples and various Buddha statues. The Upper Guest Hall, the largest guest room area at Puzhao Temple, was completed late last year. The building, adorned with a predominantly Buddhist color palette of red and yellow, embodies the exquisite beauty of Buddhist thought. The Five Contemplations Hall, the largest dining hall at Puzhao Temple, is also home to vegetarian meals and Buddhist chanting. The food here is similar to typical vegetarian meals, without excessive fanfare, offering a touch of tranquility and simplicity.
