Jinlong Temple, located in Mosika Village, Danba County, is the center of Mosika's religious beliefs and the tallest and most imposing building in the village. Other houses are relatively low and closely surround the temple.

The ancient beams and pillars of Jinlong Temple bear inscriptions from the temple's builders, which read "Built in June of the 21st year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty," meaning in the summer of 1842. Jinlong Temple belongs to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Its first living Buddha came from Guoluo Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and the temple in Guoluo is also the mother temple of Jinlong Temple.
