Ertan National Forest Park includes the area above the Ertan Power Station Dam. It is the first ridge of the entire lake surface of the Yalong River system in the area, extending to the Tengqiao River estuary in Yanyuan County. The park is a rare leisure, vacation and recuperation resort with overlapping mountains, deep canyons, high mountains and flat lakes, and dense greenery.

Ertan National Forest Park has nine major scenic areas, including Tungzilin, Bodhisattva Rock, Gaoba Pinghu, Malu Village, Baipo Mountain, Laojun Temple, Lake Island Scenery, Natural Bridge, and Immortal Cave, and nearly a hundred high-quality attractions.

The highest peak in the scenic area, Zuanzi Cliff, is 2,360 meters above sea level. It stands tall and majestic, with steep cliffs and magnificent scenery.
