Baoshi Lake, located in Baoshi Village, Changsong Township, Longquanyi District, Chengdu, sits on a small plain where two mountain streams converge. Formerly known as Baoshi Reservoir, it was named after a giant lion-shaped rock between the two mountains. The lake is wide at the front and narrow at the back, stretching 2.5 kilometers from north to south.

The main attractions include the Peach Blossom Valley on Hongxiapo, the Jiuqu Lake Pavilion and the spectacular Stone Lion Corridor on the dam: more than 200 stone lions in various shapes and lifelike shapes sit and stand on the stone railings of the dam.
