Twin Falls is located in Kakadu National Park, a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in the Northern Territory , close to Jim Jim Falls , on the cliffs of Arnhem Land. The two waterfalls on the left and right with a drop of 44-51 meters are very spectacular. It is one of the most famous attractions in Kakadu National Park.

You can take a boat through the deep canyon to reach the Twin Falls, and then take a wooden boardwalk to the bottom of the falls. The Twin Falls consists of two waterfalls flowing down in parallel, so they are called Twin Falls.

The waterfall rushes down from a cliff more than 180 meters high. Below the waterfall is a quiet beach and a large pool. The beach here is spotless white and the water is as clear as crystal. It is a good choice to take a break and breathe fresh air.

Climate and best time to travel

Kakadu National Park is wettest from January to March and hottest from July to October , so try to avoid these two periods and opt for spring and autumn when the weather is pleasant and roads are generally open.
