The former residence, where Zou Taofen lived and worked in the 1930s, is furnished to its original state, and the majority of exhibited objects are original. The supplementary exhibits, featuring images, objects, and textual descriptions, depict Zou Taofen's life and ideological development. Inscriptions from national leaders are also on display.
The museum's collection includes 3,378 items, 17 of which are first-class items . These include the manuscript of Zou Taofen's final work, "A Life of Suffering," and a used fountain pen.
