
The Shanghai Science and Energy Conservation Exhibition Hall, located in the Huayuanfang Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industrial Park, covers an area of 3,450 square meters. It features eight themed exhibition areas: the introductory hall, industry, life, buildings, transportation, new energy, low carbon, and youth experience. Featuring over 150 exhibits, it is China's largest public welfare energy conservation and low-carbon exhibition platform with the most comprehensive exhibits and the most advanced display technology. It is also a key base for promoting patriotic education on energy conservation and emission reduction. It has been designated as a field teaching site for the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong, a cadre education base for the Party School of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of the Communist Party of China for Economy and Information Technology, a Shanghai Science Popularization Education Base, a Shanghai themed science popularization venue, a Shanghai science popularization tourism demonstration base, a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) low-carbon education activity base, and a demonstration site for China's terminal energy efficiency projects.
The Shanghai Science and Energy Conservation Exhibition Hall is a public welfare energy conservation exhibition platform approved by the municipal government and planned and built by the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission and relevant municipal departments.
Through physical models, interactive games, display boards, videos, multimedia technology and other means, an organic unity of professionalism, systematicness, fun and effectiveness is formed, so that visitors can understand advanced energy-saving technologies, sublimate energy-saving concepts, strengthen environmental awareness, promote energy conservation and emission reduction and energy efficiency concepts to be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and allow high-efficiency products and technologies to penetrate into all walks of life and enter thousands of households, establishing a low-carbon and efficient energy consumption model in the whole society.
