Nanxun is a district of Huzhou City built in January 2003. It belongs to Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Nanxun Ancient Town

Located in the eastern part of Nanxun District, Huzhou City, bordering Jiangsu Province, it is one of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Numerous historical sites blend harmoniously with the natural scenery, imbued with a rich historical and cultural heritage and a vibrant aura. It boasts Xiaolianzhuang and Jiayetang libraries.

Hundred Houses

Located on both sides of the Dongbaijianlou River in Nanxun Ancient Town, the Baijianlou complex is known as the "Baijianlou" because of the hundreds of buildings built along the riverbank, connected by a long stone bridge. The architecture of the Baijianlou maintains the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty while also incorporating echoes of the Qing Dynasty. It is a residential complex embodying the typical Jiangnan waterside town style. Some of the Baijianlou buildings along the riverbank utilize the space to create arcades, while others feature eaves in front of the buildings, making the streets convenient for pedestrians, providing shelter from the rain in the rainy season, and shade in the summer.
