Dalong Bay

Located approximately 1 kilometer south of Jinchuantun, Jinchuan Town, at an altitude of 629 meters, it covers 81 hectares and has a maximum depth of approximately 88 meters. It is the largest of the seven Longwan Bays in Longwan National Forest Park. Experts estimate that it was formed approximately 1.5 million years ago. It is a low-lying volcanic crater lake, also known as a maar lake. Its waters are pure, and surrounded by mountains, it boasts a favorable ecological environment and a vast and beautiful landscape. Major attractions include Luhua Island, Diaoyutai, Guanyin Cave, and Longtan Palace. The scenery is particularly captivating in May when the Longwan azaleas are in full bloom.

Triceratops Bay

Located 6 kilometers east of Jinchuantun, Jinchuan Town, and 687 meters above sea level, Sanjiaolong Bay covers 42.6 hectares and has a maximum depth of approximately 97 meters. Formed approximately 600,000 to 1,000,000 years ago, it is a contiguous crater lake formed by two or more volcanic eruptions and is also considered a maar lake. Sanjiaolong Bay boasts a winding coastline, steep cliffs and unique peaks, and the waters are deep, emerald green, a magical and majestic beauty. Named for its triangular shape, a small island in the center stands like a solitary rock in the water. Amidst the white clouds and clear waters, ecological wonders such as the Reflecting Cloud Cliff, the Three Swords Peak, and the White Dragon Spring add to the picturesque beauty of Sanjiaolong Bay, making it the most scenic of all dragon bays.

Diaoshuihu Waterfall

Located approximately 3.5 kilometers southeast of Dalong Bay, the Xiangshui River, originating in the Longgang Mountains of the Changbai Mountain Range, flows through here. Due to volcanic activity, the riverbed has plummeted, forming a waterfall approximately 4 meters high and 13 meters wide. The water cascades down like a silk thread, like pearls and jade falling from a stream, resembling a giant kettle suspended in the forest. Hence, the locals call it the "Hanging Kettle."
