Brice vs?

Hi, I’m thinking about booking the Brice. How is location? I’m also considering some of the suites hotels but I’m starting to confuse myself. I’m traveling with 12 year old. Priority is location and a pool. We were there years ago and stayed at the Westin but want to stay in the HD this time. Thanks!

The Brice Hotel in Savannah is located in the Historic District (HD), which is perfect for exploring the area, especially if you're looking to be close to popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. It's a charming boutique hotel with a Southern feel, and it's a great choice for travelers who want to experience the historic charm of the city while staying in a comfortable setting.

Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect from The Brice and nearby accommodations:

  • Location: The Brice is ideally located in the Historic District, within walking distance to many of Savannah's top attractions, including River Street, Forsyth Park, and the City Market. It's a good choice if you want easy access to the city's sights without needing a car.
  • Pool: The Brice has a beautiful outdoor pool, which could be a great option for your 12-year-old to enjoy during downtime. It's a small but relaxing area, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city.
  • Suites and Family-Friendly: The Brice is more of a boutique-style hotel, so if you're specifically looking for large suites or more family-oriented amenities, it may not be the best choice for larger families. However, it can still be a good fit for smaller families who want to stay in a stylish, more intimate setting.

If you're comparing The Brice with other hotels, here are some options in the Historic District that might offer what you're looking for:

  • The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa: This hotel offers larger rooms and a more traditional, upscale experience. It's located on Hutchinson Island, a short ferry ride from the Historic District. The Westin has a large pool area, and it’s especially family-friendly with great views of the river and city. If you’re looking for something with more space, amenities, and a full resort experience, this could be a good option.
  • The Hyatt Centric: A more modern option in the Historic District with a rooftop pool and stunning views of the river. It’s in a prime location for sightseeing and also features family-friendly amenities.
  • The Mansion on Forsyth Park: A bit of a luxury option with a beautiful setting near Forsyth Park. It offers an elegant atmosphere, a lovely pool, and spacious rooms, making it a great choice for families who want a more upscale experience in the heart of the Historic District.

Ultimately, if your priority is a prime location and a pool, The Brice could be a great choice for you, especially since you’ve previously enjoyed the Westin. However, if you're looking for a larger family suite or a resort-style experience, the other options may be more suitable. Either way, staying in the Historic District means you'll have plenty of things to see and do within walking distance!
