Hotels in French Quarter: Homewood Suites or Doubletree?

We're heading to New Orleans from Nov 2-6 and I've zoomed in to either Homewood Suites or Doubletree. What are your thoughts on these two? Or any other recommendations? It'll be our first time in NOLA. We enjoy jazz and blues, but my husband wants a good night sleep.. thanks!
