Hotel choice

I’m sure it’s been ask many of times but I’m tired of looking lol, looking to visit end of April for couple days. we’ll be on motorcycles but looking for nice place within walking to bars, restaurants and touristy stuff. Thoughts on Winslow, Marker, Marquesa, Eden House? Any suggestions/opinions appreciated.

Key West is very walkable, and since you’ll be on motorcycles, parking won’t be as big a hassle. All the hotels you mentioned are centrally located, within walking distance of Duval Street, bars, restaurants, and main tourist attractions, so you’ll be well positioned no matter which you choose.

Here’s a breakdown of the options:

  • Winslow’s Inn: Small, charming boutique inn with a cozy atmosphere. Great if you prefer a quieter, more intimate stay. Some units have small patios or gardens, but there is no full-service pool. Ideal for couples who want a low-key vibe close to nightlife.
  • The Marker Waterfront Resort: Modern, full-service resort with a pool, waterfront views, and upscale amenities. Perfect if you want a more resort-like experience while still being a short walk to bars and restaurants. More expensive, but excellent for comfort and convenience.
  • Marquesa Hotel: Boutique-style hotel with an attractive pool and garden area. Central location with easy access to Duval Street. Very popular with couples, offering a balance of charm and amenities. Can be lively due to its proximity to nightlife.
  • Eden House: Cozy inn with tropical gardens and a pool. Offers a relaxed atmosphere slightly off the main strip, providing some peace while still being walkable to restaurants and bars. Friendly staff and good for couples who enjoy a slower pace.

Additional tips:

  • Since you’ll be visiting in late April, booking early is recommended as the weather is very pleasant and hotels fill up quickly.
  • All these properties are within reasonable walking distance to the main attractions, so you likely won’t need to move your motorcycles much once parked.
  • If you value a pool and a slightly more upscale stay, The Marker or Marquesa would be preferable. For a quieter, garden-style boutique feel, Winslow’s or Eden House are great choices.
  • Consider checking recent guest reviews for noise levels, as some central locations can get lively at night.

Overall, your choice comes down to whether you prefer a quieter boutique experience (Winslow, Eden House) or a more modern, resort-style stay with a pool (Marker, Marquesa). All are well-located for walking to Key West’s main attractions.
