Cosmo fountain view

Hi all- have pulled trigger on the cosmo 2 bed fountain view queen studio for April. Ticks the boxes- nice room, central and great views. Given the little time my brother and I will probably spend in the room I felt a suite was probably an unnecessary waste and frees up extra trip dollars 💵

Quick question… I’ve read I should request high view. Should I be requesting a particular tower? Boulevard seems to look more directly down strip?

I’m aware it has to be high to avoid the Bellagio sign

Thanks for all your help so far guys

Congrats on booking your stay at The Cosmopolitan—sounds like an exciting trip! The fountain view is definitely one of the highlights of staying there, and you’re right to focus on getting the best view for your room. Here are a few tips on requesting a room with a great view:

1. High Floor Request

Yes, it's a great idea to request a high-floor room, as the view of the Bellagio fountains gets better the higher up you go. This will also help you avoid the Bellagio sign blocking your view. Ideally, you’ll want to request a room on a floor above the 20th or 25th, but even higher would give you a better panoramic view. The higher the floor, the less likely you’ll have an obstruction, and the view of the Strip and fountains will be more expansive.

2. Boulevard Tower vs. Chelsea Tower

You're correct that the Boulevard Tower has a better direct view of the Strip, including the Bellagio fountains. The Boulevard Tower is positioned in a way that gives you a front-and-center view of the fountains, making it the preferred choice for most guests requesting a fountain view. The Chelsea Tower, while still offering good views, is positioned a little further back from the fountains, so you might not get as direct of a view.

  • For the best fountain view: Request the Boulevard Tower and make sure you’re on a high floor to get the most unobstructed view.
  • If the Chelsea Tower is your only option: It's still a great view, just slightly less direct, and higher floors will still give you a good overall view of the Strip.

3. Additional Tips

  • When you check in, be sure to confirm your preference for a high-floor room. Mention that you want the best possible fountain view.
  • Some guests also recommend calling the hotel before your arrival to confirm your request for a high-floor fountain view room.
  • If you're aiming for a room with no obstructions (like the Bellagio sign), a higher floor in the Boulevard Tower is your best bet.

With the Eagles concert, your trip is shaping up to be amazing! Enjoy your stay at The Cosmopolitan, and I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic time with those views.
