I am looking to possibly stay in encore next year versus a private home, but I really need to get some information about this property. I don't have children. It's just two adults going . is the resort area itself nice? Walking paths . Should I rent a place a condo by the golf course? I know it's very huge. Any information someone could give me is really appreciated.
And would this be a good idea for a three weeks day?
Encore Resort at Reunion is a large, upscale resort community located near the Walt Disney World Resort area in Kissimmee, Florida. While the resort is particularly family-oriented, with many amenities designed for children, it can still offer a comfortable and enjoyable stay for adults, especially if you prefer more privacy and resort-style amenities. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:
Resort Area and Ambiance:
The Encore Resort offers a range of luxury vacation homes, townhomes, and condos. The resort has an upscale vibe, with well-maintained grounds, landscaping, and recreational facilities. Although it caters mostly to families, the quiet and spacious environment can be appealing for adults looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
The resort has some walking paths, and while it is large, it’s still a pleasant area for strolling. You’ll find lush greenery and scenic views around the resort, especially around the golf course area. That said, it’s not as walkable as some smaller resorts or communities that focus on pedestrian-friendly spaces, but it’s great for a laid-back, private experience.
Accommodation Options:
If you’re considering staying near the golf course, you’ll likely enjoy a peaceful view and a quieter atmosphere. The properties near the golf course tend to be more luxurious, with some offering private pools and spacious living areas. Given that you’re traveling as adults, this could be a great choice, as it would provide both comfort and a more serene environment away from the larger, more family-focused accommodations. Many of these homes have resort-style amenities like pools, kitchens, and entertainment spaces that can be ideal for longer stays.
Three-Week Stay:
Encore Resort is a great option for longer stays. With a three-week stay, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the amenities, relax by your private pool, or explore the nearby attractions in the Orlando area. The resort offers various leisure activities, such as tennis courts, a fitness center, and access to the Reunion Resort’s golf courses. However, you may want to rent a car since the resort is somewhat spread out and public transportation options can be limited.
Things to Consider:
Overall Recommendation: Based on your needs, Encore Resort could be a great option for a three-week stay, especially if you prefer more privacy and space. Renting a condo near the golf course will likely offer a quieter and more relaxed environment. While the resort does cater to families, it offers ample amenities and comforts that will make your stay enjoyable without the crowd. It’s a good balance of resort-style amenities with the comforts of home, making it ideal for a longer stay.
