Encore resort info

I am looking to possibly stay in encore next year versus a private home, but I really need to get some information about this property. I don't have children. It's just two adults going . is the resort area itself nice? Walking paths . Should I rent a place a condo by the golf course? I know it's very huge. Any information someone could give me is really appreciated.

And would this be a good idea for a three weeks day?

Encore Resort at Reunion is a large, upscale resort community located near the Walt Disney World Resort area in Kissimmee, Florida. While the resort is primarily geared towards families, it can still be a great option for adults, especially if you are looking for a peaceful and spacious place to stay for a few weeks. Here’s what you can expect from the resort and the area:

Resort Area and Ambiance:

The resort area is well-maintained with a luxurious, gated community vibe. It’s large, but not overwhelming, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. While it’s mainly designed for families, the resort itself is peaceful and quiet, especially in the areas near the golf course. There are also several walking paths around the property, though it’s not as pedestrian-friendly as some smaller resorts. If you enjoy long walks, there are paths around the property, but it’s not an entirely walkable area in the sense that you might be able to stroll easily to shops or restaurants.

Accommodation Options:

Encore Resort offers a variety of vacation homes, including large private homes, townhomes, and condos. Since you’re planning on staying as adults, renting a condo near the golf course could be an excellent choice for a quieter, more relaxed experience. These properties tend to offer more space and comfort, and many feature private pools, full kitchens, and multiple bedrooms, making them ideal for a longer stay. Being near the golf course would also offer pleasant views and a peaceful atmosphere, away from the more family-centric parts of the resort.

Three-Week Stay:

If you’re planning to stay for three weeks, Encore Resort could be a very good option. The resort offers all the amenities you might need for an extended stay, including a clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, and access to a water park (though this is more for families). Having access to a private home or condo with a full kitchen and living space will allow you to feel more comfortable and at home during your stay. Plus, the location near major theme parks like Disney makes it easy to explore the area when you’re ready to leave the resort.

Things to Consider:

  • Size of the Resort: Encore Resort is quite large, so it’s good to note that some parts of the resort can feel a little spread out. If you prefer a smaller, more intimate resort experience, this might not be ideal. However, if you enjoy space and privacy, this is definitely a plus.
  • Adult-Friendly Amenities: While Encore Resort is family-oriented, it still offers plenty for adults to enjoy. The golf course, fitness center, and quiet areas around the property make it a great spot to relax. If you’re not interested in the water park, there are other areas of the resort that are more peaceful and relaxing.
  • Transportation: While Encore Resort is close to the theme parks, it’s not located within walking distance to many shops or restaurants. You may want to rent a car or use a ride-sharing service to get around, especially if you plan on exploring outside the resort for meals or activities.

Overall Recommendation: Encore Resort at Reunion can be a great place for adults looking for a spacious, quiet retreat near the theme parks. Renting a condo near the golf course will offer you a peaceful environment with plenty of amenities, making it a great option for a three-week stay. If you prefer more privacy, comfort, and space, this could be an excellent alternative to staying in a private home. However, if you’re looking for something smaller and more social, you may want to explore other options.
