Flamingo Pool Renovations
Getting ready for another Vegas trip and curious if anyone has seen how far the Go Pool is coming along. Was there second week of January and word was they would be opening in March. There was absolutely no way that was going to happen unless David Copperfield was involved. Hoping to come either April/early May. TIA
The Flamingo’s Go Pool is indeed undergoing renovations, and there has been quite a bit of speculation about its completion timeline. As you mentioned, the initial word was that the pool would be open by March, but that timeline was probably a bit optimistic given the scope of the work.
Based on recent updates and reviews from visitors, here’s what you can expect:
- Pool Renovation Progress: The Go Pool renovations are ongoing, and while it hasn’t fully opened, progress has been made. Some sections may be partially open, but most of the amenities (like cabanas, pool bars, and additional features) are still being worked on. By April or early May, there's a good chance that a larger portion of the pool area will be available for guests, but it may not be completely finished.
- What’s Available Now: Some of the pool areas, like the Flamingo Pool (the main pool), have been open and are operational, even if the Go Pool is still under construction. If you’re planning to visit during your trip in April/May, the Flamingo Pool could be a solid alternative if the Go Pool isn’t fully ready. The Flamingo pool has plenty of space and amenities, but it's not quite the same vibe as the Go Pool, which is known for being a bit more lively and upscale.
- When to Expect Full Completion: Many guests speculate that the Go Pool might be fully renovated by late spring or summer of 2025, with the completion of all planned features. However, if you’re visiting in April or early May, you may still find some parts of the pool area closed or under construction, but more accessible than it was in January.
- What to Do in the Meantime: If you're planning to visit soon and the Go Pool isn't fully ready, there are plenty of other pools in Vegas to enjoy, or you can check out the amenities at nearby resorts. Pools like those at The Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, or the Venetian offer high-end experiences if you're looking for something similar in terms of vibe.
All in all, there’s a good chance that by late April or early May, much of the renovation work will be finished, but the exact completion date for the Go Pool is still a bit uncertain. Stay tuned for updates from the Flamingo directly or from recent guest reviews. Enjoy your Vegas trip!
