All shook up

Has anyone seen ALL SHOOK UP. At the Alexis park. Reviews are good. Was planning on going this weekend. Any thoughts ??

"All Shook Up" is a fun, energetic musical inspired by the music of Elvis Presley, and it’s known for its lively atmosphere and catchy tunes. The production at Alexis Park has received positive reviews for its performances, especially if you're a fan of Elvis' hits and want to experience a light-hearted show with a retro vibe.

The storyline is a fun mix of romance, comedy, and some classic Elvis songs like "Jailhouse Rock," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "Hound Dog." While it’s not a big Broadway-style production, it offers a charming, intimate performance that is definitely worth considering for a more casual, feel-good night out in Las Vegas.

Here are a few things to consider before deciding to go:

  • Small Venue: Alexis Park is a smaller venue, so it’s more intimate than the larger strip theaters. This can be a pro or a con, depending on what you're looking for. The seating is typically closer to the stage, which makes for a more personal experience, but it also means the space is more limited.
  • Energy and Fun Factor: The show is full of energy and designed to get the crowd involved. If you enjoy musicals that are upbeat and packed with recognizable tunes, you'll probably enjoy this one.
  • Audience Response: The audience typically enjoys the nostalgia and fun factor of the show, with people clapping and singing along to the Elvis hits. If you love that kind of audience engagement, this show offers it in spades.
  • Not for Everyone: If you're expecting a deep, dramatic Broadway show, this may not be your cup of tea. "All Shook Up" is more of a light, feel-good musical with a lot of Elvis music, but if you’re just looking to have fun and enjoy some great songs, it could be a hit.

If you're in the mood for something lively and don't mind the smaller, intimate venue, it's a good pick for an evening out in Las Vegas. If you're expecting a more elaborate, Broadway-level production, you might want to consider other options.

Overall, if you love Elvis and want a fun, energetic night, "All Shook Up" at Alexis Park seems like a solid choice!
