Cosmo offers overlapping again. Has anyone had one cancelled

?

I was thinking more along the lines of no 72 hour rule. Swem to be able to go straight from 3 comp nights at Bellagio to 3 comp nights at Cosmo.

What are people's experiences of this?

It’s become more common for certain properties like the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan to offer overlapping comp nights, particularly if you’re a loyal member of the Caesars or MGM rewards programs. The traditional 72-hour rule, which required a break between comped stays at different properties, seems to have become less rigid in some cases, especially for frequent guests with strong status in loyalty programs.

Many people have successfully transitioned directly from comped nights at Bellagio to comped nights at Cosmo without any issues, so it’s likely that the policy has been relaxed for those who maintain high-tier membership levels (e.g., Platinum, Noir, or Diamond). However, keep in mind that this can depend on your loyalty status, the availability of rooms, and specific promotions being offered at the time.

If you’ve experienced cancellations or any other issues, they may have been related to changes in availability, especially if there was a major event happening during your stay. To avoid any surprises, it’s a good idea to double-check your reservations directly with the properties, especially if they are being booked through the rewards program or a promotion that may have specific restrictions.

  • Overlap Stays: If you have strong loyalty status, it’s possible to book consecutive comped nights at different properties without the usual 72-hour gap.
  • Cancellation Risk: While most people report no issues, there have been some cases where overlapping stays were canceled due to high demand, major events, or changes in hotel policies.
  • Booking Tips: To avoid complications, confirm both bookings (Bellagio and Cosmo) well in advance, and ask the front desk staff if there are any restrictions or potential issues regarding your comp nights.

Overall, many loyal guests enjoy the flexibility of being able to stay at multiple MGM or Caesars properties in Las Vegas without having to worry about strict rules, but it’s always a good idea to stay on top of your bookings to ensure a smooth transition between stays!
