Boston hotels

Hi we’re going to Boston in June on a road trip , on our return to the uk we have a night flight back to the uk so would like get a hotel room to rest and shower before our departure

Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel not necessarily in Boston but surrounding areas as well please ?

If you're looking for a hotel to rest and shower before your flight back to the UK, there are several budget-friendly options both within Boston and in the surrounding areas. Staying outside the city can often offer more affordable options with easy access to the airport. Here are a few recommendations:

  • Option 1: Hotels near Logan Airport – These are very convenient if you're flying out from Logan Airport, offering a quick shuttle to the terminal. Some budget-friendly options include:
    • Holiday Inn Express Boston – A reasonably priced option with free breakfast and close proximity to the airport.
    • Comfort Inn & Suites Logan International Airport – Affordable, clean rooms with free airport shuttle service.
    • Four Points by Sheraton Boston Logan Airport – A slightly higher budget option but still within the lower price range, offering comfortable rooms and a shuttle service.
  • Option 2: Hotels in East Boston – East Boston is close to the airport and tends to be cheaper than downtown Boston, but it’s still a quick drive or public transport away from the city center.
    • EnVision Hotel Boston – A modern hotel with easy access to both the airport and Boston, offering reasonable rates.
    • Revere Hotel Boston Common – Not far from East Boston, this hotel offers good prices and is close to downtown attractions.
  • Option 3: Hotels in Cambridge – Located just across the river from Boston, Cambridge has plenty of affordable options while still being a short drive or train ride to Logan Airport.
    • Holiday Inn Express Cambridge – A budget-friendly option with convenient access to both the city and the airport.
    • The Kendall Hotel – A charming and affordable option in a great location with easy access to Boston and the airport.
  • Option 4: Suburban Hotels – If you’re willing to stay a little further out from the city, you can find cheaper hotels in the suburbs with easy access to public transportation into Boston. Look for areas like Somerville, Medford, or Malden.
    • AC Hotel by Marriott Boston North – Located in nearby Chelsea, it's close to both the airport and public transportation to Boston at a lower price.
    • Best Western Plus Boston Hotel – Situated in Dorchester, this option offers good rates and easy access to the T (Boston's subway system).

It’s always a good idea to check for any additional amenities, like free airport shuttle services or early check-in availability, to make your rest more comfortable. Booking in advance, especially during busy seasons like June, will also help you get the best rates.
