Hotel walkable to bars/restaurants

Any recommendations for a hotel/condo on the beach but walkable to bars/restaurants? We like to have cocktails so don’t want to be driving.

Siesta Key is a beautiful destination with stunning beaches, and it’s great that you’re looking for a hotel or condo that’s both on the beach and walkable to bars and restaurants. That way, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—beachfront relaxation and easy access to local nightlife and dining without having to drive.

Here are some excellent options for hotels and condos on Siesta Key that are close to bars and restaurants:

  • The Siesta Key Beach Resort & Suites: Located just across the street from Siesta Key Beach, this resort is a short walk to Siesta Key Village, which is home to a variety of bars, restaurants, and shops. It offers easy access to the beach while being close to the action in the village, making it a great choice if you’re looking to enjoy cocktails without needing to drive.
  • Turtle Beach Resort: Situated on the southern tip of Siesta Key, this beachfront resort offers a more private, laid-back experience. While it’s a bit further from Siesta Key Village, it’s still within walking distance of a few local restaurants and bars. The beach access is incredible, and you’ll have a peaceful setting to unwind in the evenings, though you may need to walk or take a short bike ride to explore more dining options.
  • Hyatt Residence Club Sarasota, Siesta Key Beach: This upscale property is right on the beach and offers luxurious condo-style accommodations. It's only a short walk to Siesta Key Village, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy. The Hyatt provides a more high-end feel while still being close enough to the village for a night out. This is a perfect choice if you want a relaxing, luxury stay with easy access to the local nightlife.
  • Beach Club at Siesta Key: A charming beachfront property that’s just a quick walk from the restaurants and bars in Siesta Key Village. It’s ideal for those who want to stay close to both the beach and the local dining scene. The property features spacious condos with beach views, and you’ll have no trouble walking to some of the best spots on the island for a cocktail or dinner.
  • Siesta Key Palms Hotel: Located just off the beach and a short stroll from Siesta Key Village, this boutique hotel is known for its cozy atmosphere and prime location. It’s close to several bars and restaurants, making it easy to walk to and enjoy cocktails in the evening. While it’s not directly on the beach, the hotel is just a few minutes away, so you can easily enjoy both the beach and the vibrant nightlife of the area.

Each of these options offers easy access to both the beach and local bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a more quiet, low-key vibe, consider staying in the southern part of Siesta Key, where you’ll find properties like Turtle Beach Resort. For more vibrant and walkable areas with plenty of nightlife, Siesta Key Village offers a wide variety of options, with properties like The Siesta Key Beach Resort & Suites and the Hyatt Residence Club being ideal choices.

With any of these options, you’ll be able to enjoy the best of Siesta Key—relaxing days on the beach and lively nights at local restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. Enjoy your stay!
