Parking

We are headed down for a night in July. Thinking of staying at one of the cute boutique hotels. Does anyone know how off street parking is after 11pm? Is it plentiful? TIA!

Parking availability in Hollywood, Florida, especially near the beach and boutique hotels, can vary depending on the location and time of day. Here’s what you can expect for off-street parking after 11pm:

  • Off-Street Parking Availability: After 11pm, parking tends to be more available compared to peak hours when the area is busier with visitors. However, it can still be a bit tricky in areas with a lot of bars, restaurants, and attractions, especially on weekends. Most streets near the beach have metered parking, but these meters are typically not enforced overnight (after 8pm or so), so you can often find free parking on the street in some areas.
  • Hotel Parking: Many boutique hotels in Hollywood will offer limited on-site parking, but this can come with an additional fee, especially during the busy summer months. It’s a good idea to check directly with the hotel in advance to see if they provide parking and what the costs are. Some boutique hotels might not have a large parking lot, so if you’re staying at one, make sure they have enough spaces for guests.
  • Public Parking Lots: There are several public parking lots in the area, especially near the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and downtown Hollywood. These lots may have overnight parking options, and some charge a flat rate for 24-hour parking. These lots can fill up earlier in the evening, but by 11pm, you may have better luck finding a spot.
  • Street Parking: There’s also metered street parking available in parts of Hollywood, but meters are typically free after 8pm. However, be cautious and check the signs, as some areas may have specific restrictions or require a permit. Additionally, parking in residential areas may be limited due to the popularity of the area.

To summarize, parking after 11pm in Hollywood should generally be plentiful, especially if you’re staying in the area near the beach. You’ll likely find street parking or spots in public lots, but for a more guaranteed and hassle-free experience, checking if your boutique hotel provides parking is recommended. Just be mindful of the parking regulations and be prepared for a small fee if you opt for a public lot or hotel parking.
