Six ladies visiting for 4 nights end of April. Would appreciate favorite seafood restaurant recommendations. Would like to make a couple reservations in advance. TIA!!

The Grey – Located in a beautifully restored 1938 art deco Greyhound bus station, The Grey is one of Savannah's best fine-dining restaurants. The seafood dishes here are incredible, with local ingredients and creative preparations. While it's not a casual seafood shack, the menu offers exceptional seafood in a sophisticated setting. Highly recommended for a special dinner, and reservations are definitely recommended.
Alligator Soul – Known for its Southern-style seafood, Alligator Soul is a great option for both traditional and unique seafood dishes. The shrimp and grits are a fan favorite, and they often have special dishes made with local catches. The atmosphere is upscale and intimate, perfect for a group looking for a nice dinner spot.
Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room – Although it’s not a traditional seafood spot, Mrs. Wilkes' serves classic Southern fare, and they often offer fresh seafood options as part of their daily menu. It's a Savannah institution, and if you want a down-home experience with great food, it's a must-try (but be ready for a bit of a wait, as they don’t take reservations).
The Shrimp Factory – Located on River Street, The Shrimp Factory offers fresh seafood with a fantastic view of the river. It’s a great spot for casual dining while watching the riverboats pass by. Husk Savannah – Though it’s not strictly a seafood restaurant, Husk offers a Southern-inspired menu with a focus on local ingredients, and they do seafood exceptionally well. They often feature regional seafood dishes that highlight the best of Georgia’s coastal bounty. The atmosphere is stylish yet cozy, making it an excellent spot for a fun evening out with your group.
Boar's Head Grill & Tavern – Located right on the water, Boar's Head offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere with great seafood. It’s known for its local oysters, shrimp dishes, and low-country boils. If you’re looking for a casual spot with a fun vibe and good seafood, this is a great choice.

Since you'll be visiting in late April, reservations are a good idea, especially on weekends. Savannah can get busy during this time, and these popular spots fill up quickly. I recommend making reservations at The Grey and Alligator Soul for a special, upscale experience, and for the more casual spots like The Shrimp Factory and Boar's Head, you can usually walk in, but it never hurts to call ahead, especially for a group of six.
