For your girl's trip to Savannah, staying in the Historic District is a great choice since it allows you to easily walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Here are some hotel recommendations that fit your requirements for parking, comfortable accommodations, and good reviews:

  • Hyatt Centric Savannah - This modern hotel is located right in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, offering easy access to all the major attractions. It provides a variety of room configurations, including suites that can accommodate three people. - It also has a nice breakfast option, a rooftop bar with great views, and parking available (though it may come with a fee). The hotel is clean, with excellent service, and is known for its friendly staff. - Reviewers appreciate the walkability, as well as the fact that it’s close to River Street, where you can find plenty of dining and shopping options.
  • The Marshall House - Located in a beautifully restored 19th-century building, The Marshall House is another excellent choice in the Historic District. It's within walking distance to many Savannah attractions, so you can leave your car parked and explore the area. - They offer rooms with two beds and a sofa bed in some of their suites, making it a good fit for three people. The hotel has a great reputation for cleanliness, history, and service. - It's known for its complimentary evening wine and cheese hour, which is a nice touch for your trip.
  • Planters Inn - This charming hotel has a great location on Reynolds Square, just a short walk from the riverfront and other Savannah attractions. It offers rooms with multiple bedding options, including suites that could fit three guests comfortably. - They offer valet parking, which makes it easy to park your car and walk around. Guests mention the hotel’s Southern charm, lovely courtyard, and great customer service. - The hotel offers breakfast, and there’s an option to enjoy cocktails in the evenings. It's a cozy, historic hotel that adds to the atmosphere of your stay in Savannah.
  • Hotel Savannah - Another great option for a central location is Hotel Savannah. It’s a more budget-friendly choice in the heart of the Historic District, offering rooms with comfortable bedding configurations for up to three guests. - The hotel has a nice breakfast included and offers a happy hour in the evenings. There’s also parking available for guests, and many visitors enjoy the clean, well-kept rooms and the hotel's proximity to the Savannah Riverfront and shops.

These hotels all offer a combination of great locations, parking, cleanliness, and comfort. For the “nice-to-have” amenities, such as breakfast and happy hour, most of these places check those boxes as well. Be sure to book in advance, especially for a popular time like early May!

Enjoy your stay in Savannah!
