A couple new openings over the past month. The Kauai Diner opened a second outpost where Hapa Ramen used to be. As quite a few of us predicted the $32 ramen bowl didn't make it. Nice to have another breakfast / casual place on the south shore. Open 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm.

Right below Kauai Diner is Scotty Browns, not exactly sure what style they are going for. Hodgepodge of salads, sandwiches and fancy dinners along with a pretty standard drink list. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. We shall see if $24 chicken quesadillas fare better than $32 ramen.
