✨This time we will share the experience of self-driving a powered sled on the Kimobetsu route in Hokkaido, enjoying driving on the snow in nature, swimming and admiring the snow scenery along the way. We took a tourist bus from Sapporo and it took about 90 minutes to get there. I personally recommend taking a picture of the snow scene before driving the powered sled, because it is so beautiful.

✨This is my second time driving a powered sled in Hokkaido. The last time I played it at Shikicai-no-Oka. The driving method is the same and you can drive it without a license plate. Before driving, the instructor will introduce the basic operations of the snowmobile, such as pushing the accelerator to accelerate, brakes and safety gestures. It is very simple. Visitors who have never played it before just need to push the accelerator slowly. It is easy to get started. The snowmobile can only seat two people at most.

✨This route was originally one of the earliest routes opened in Hokkaido. I personally feel that this route is like hiking, because you need to drive from the foot of the mountain to a height of about halfway up the mountain.

✨️The team of powered sled drivers, led by a local coach, set off slowly up the dark slope and around different bends and sharp turns, just like driving on the mountain. This route takes about 45 minutes, and there are also places to get off along the way to enjoy the snowy scenery of Mt. Yotei, take photos as souvenirs, and take a short break. The most exciting part is going down the mountain, because it is a steep slope with some sharp turns and turns, so you have to control your speed carefully. Furthermore, there will be oncoming sleds passing by while driving, so you need to drive slowly to avoid collision.

✨️There is a mini snow sled area in the park. You can play with the snow sled as well. You may also want to play with it a few times and feel the thrill of skiing on the snow sled.
