Journey to Altay: Life's Wilderness Framed Through a Car Window

During my self-driving trip to Altay, I was unexpectedly stunned by its beauty
When I casually glanced out the car window
The vast wilderness and majestic mountains
Left me completely awestruck and speechless
Layer upon layer of earthen mounds
With delicate textures on their surface
Like mysterious strokes left by Father Time
Filled with stories of ages past
I eagerly stopped and rolled down the window
No longer concerned about photography techniques
The car window became the perfect viewfinder
The mounds, caressed by sunlight, radiated golden brilliance
Effortlessly capturing desolate yet magnificent wilderness shots of life

Lens: 70-200/2.8
🚘 Travel tips: From S21 A'wu Highway to Beitun, avoid the downtown area of Beitun. After Beitun, there's a road (S244) toward Burqin that leads to Kanas and Hemu. Along the way is Lake Ulungur, where you can see many bird species and colorful Yardang landforms.
