Given the Netherlands' prominent role in modern and contemporary art, Amsterdam boasts a wealth of top-notch museums. Located at the entrance to the so-called Museum Quarter and boasting the largest collection, the Rijksmuseum is a must-see. Upon entering, you'll be struck by the bright and open halls, the sheer scale of the exhibits, and the beautifully landscaped gardens.
The Rembrandt exhibition on the third floor is always bustling, while the ceramics and metalwork exhibitions on the first floor are also popular. The garden also hosts a variety of events, including children's drawing classes. It's a must-see if you're visiting the Van Gogh Museum, so be sure to stop by. However, we recommend setting aside at least half a day to fully explore. Highly recommended!!!
