📍 Aomori Prefectural Tourism and Products Center ASPM (Aomori City, Aomori)



With its striking triangular exterior, this "Aomori Information Center" offers sightseeing, shopping, and experiences all in one place. It's a versatile facility perfect for both the beginning and end of your trip.  



The building and location are first-hand delights.
This 15-story, 76-meter-tall equilateral triangular building is a symbol of Aomori City. 
Easily accessible, about an 8-minute walk from JR Aomori Station, it's a great place to stop by for a leisurely stroll while enjoying views of the harbor and mountains.  



The inside is also fun! From shops to experiences.
The first floor is home to one of Aomori Prefecture's largest product plazas. It offers a wide selection of apple sweets, Tsugaru lacquerware, local sake, and more. 
The second floor features hands-on areas, including a 360° 3D digital theater where you can experience the impressive Nebuta Festival and a Tsugaru Kogin embroidery demonstration. 
From the observation deck on the 13th floor (fee required), you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Aomori city and the Hakkoda mountain range. On a clear day, you might even be able to see Hokkaido!

Opening Hours: April–October: 8:30–19:00, November–March: 8:30–18:00 (varies by store) 
Closed: December 31st and facility inspection days
