Aso Base Backpackers, a flat accommodation next to Aso Station

There are not many accommodation options around Aso Station. There is Fairfield but it is expensive. If you want a cheaper option, you can go to Aso Base Backpackers. Aso Base is very close to Aso Station, just across the street from Aso Station. It takes about two minutes to walk from Aso Station to the hotel. There are also convenience stores and one or two restaurants nearby where you can dine. A single room for one person per night is super cheap at 300 Hong Kong dollars, but you have to not mind sharing bathroom or toilet facilities. The other 4-person dom dormitory room is a double room with bunk beds.
The interior decoration feels very homey and is very clean. The 1st floor is the public area with a lobby, sofa, kitchen, etc. It is very clean. The interior is mostly decorated in wood, which looks quite comfortable. There is a fireplace in the hall, which makes it feel like staying in a log cabin.
The kitchen facilities are very complete, including a refrigerator, tea bags or coffee, battery stove, microwave, oven, etc. Almost all common electrical appliances are available here, and kitchen utensils and seasonings are also available. There are some toner, facial lotion, etc. on the washbasin, which is thoughtful. The bathroom is equipped with a simple shower, but it is quite spacious. However, this backpacker accommodation does not provide towels and toothbrushes, so please bring your own. There are coin laundry and luggage storage rooms, which are very complete
